"Nemophila Harmony" at Hitachi Seaside Park, Ibaraki

Piercing blue cloudless skies poured onto the canvas Chernozem and created a bizarre figure, striving for perfection. In the Land of the Rising Sun each year attracts thousands of tourists to look at this magical piece of zanebesya. Japanese National Seashore park Hitachi is located in Ibaraki Prefecture on o.Honsyu.
Beautiful spectacle of the Japanese fleet during the flowering Hitachi Nemophila : the feeling that there is heaven and earth are intermarried.
Nemophilas are annual flowers. It’s a combination of two Greek words nemos (small forest) and phileo (love). Nemophilas might be their best in mid-May. The literal translation from Japanese Hitachi means” dawn “.
Currently, the park has expanded to 120 hectares and plans to expand to 350 hectares











Access to Hitachi Seaside Park, Ibaraki from Tokyo

It takes about 70 mins. From JR Ueno station to Katsuta station by Express train of Joban line.
Then take the Ibaraki Kotsu Bus, and get off at the "Kaihinkoen Nishiguchi (Seaside Park West Gate)" or "Minamiguchi (South gate)" stop (about 15 minutes by bus).

It takes about 2 hours from Tokyo station bus terminal by Ibaraki Kotsu Bus heading toward "Tokai, Hitachinaka", and get off at the "Kaihinkoen Nishiguchi (Seaside Park West Gate)"
